Wild Goose Players:

The Wild Goose Players is a new theatre company headed by David Stern, former Artistic Director at Main Street Arts, and Sandy Klein, Creative Director at New England Youth Theatre, along with key collaborators Liz Guzynski, Leila Teitelman, Morganna Ekkens, Ira Wilner, and a group of incredible performers. This team has been instrumental in bringing live theatre back to the Bellows Falls Opera House (with productions of “Sweeney Todd”, “Jesus Christ Superstar”, “Chicago”, and “The Secret Garden”), and will continue this tradition with another opera house musical opening in April 2022.
With a commitment to original work, “Wild Goose” welcomes playwright in residence Sean Hurley to the company. An award winning playwright and radio journalist, and creator of “Atoms’ Motion, and the Void”, (voted best podcast in New Hampshire), Sean can be heard regularly on NHPR. “Wild Goose” will perform his play, “Food and Shelter” at Next Stage this January.
A “Wild Goose Chase” is a pursuit that ignores the odds and the obstacles. Those on such a chase focus instead on an outcome that beckons them in a way that cannot be ignored.
