music direction, Accompanist & pit orchestra's/bands
for theatrical performances
Our leader, Parker Eastman, has over 13 years experience Music Directing and working with, and in, pit orchestras for community theaters, school theater programs, etc. What Parker Eastman & The Perennials, LLC can off your organization is a "one-stop-shop" for your Pit Orchestra needs.
If your Musical, Cabaret, Etc. is in need of an accompanist and music director to come to all rehearsals, look no further! Parker Eastman will be your Music Director and teach your cast/singers their vocal lines, play through the rehearsals with underscoring & the musical numbers, work with the creative team, etc. to help make your show/performance great!
Leave the worry of finding musicians for your musical/performance to us! We can book musicians, rehearsing them separately, supply sheet music, etc. and take that off your list of items while building your show/performance. Once tech week and the performances come along, the musicians will be present for all run-throughs, show/performances, and additional time as needed. (In addition, musicians hired will come to rehearsals a couple weeks before tech week at no additional cost; this will help the performers adapt and help us get more in sync with each other for any run-throughs.) Any orchestration needed to suit the size of the ensemble, we can do as well! Take a look at Our Musicians page below to see our list of musicians to choose from.
Feel free to email us at contactus@parkereastman.com for additional information, samples, etc.

Wedding Ceremony, Cocktail Hour, Rehearsal Dinners, & Receptions
Similar to our live performances listed above, we offer anything from solo keyboard/vocals to the full 10-piece band for your wedding! Whether you want a more traditional ceremony, or a more modern take with rock/pop/jazz/etc., we are sure to make your day memorable!
WEDDING CEREMONY:
Our leader, Parker Eastman, has been playing piano and organ since 2008 and has played or over 52 wedding ceremonies for all different denominations. In his time playing for wedding ceremonies, he has played traditional hymns, wedding/ceremony music, etc. while everyone is coming into the church/venue, during the ceremony, and afterwards. He has also put small bands together to play non-traditional music such as rock, funk, and pop music at the request of the bride and groom.
COCKTAIL HOUR / REHEARSAL DINNER:
For your rehearsal dinner, as well as for cocktail hour, we put a simple jazz trio together and play background ambiance music. Depending on the want of the bride and groom, we have played all sorts of genres from bossa-nova, to rock, to pop, to jazz, and so on. We know that we are not the focus point; but rather, we are there as background for the guest to mingle, drink, eat, etc.
RECEPTION:
In performing for your reception, our book of music ranges back to the late 1920's. With music ever changing and wanting to create the best experience for the bride and groom, our leader Parker Eastman will make custom musical arrangements for your wedding reception. If there are must-haves, such as your first dance, the traditional daddy-daughter dance, favorite artists, etc., feel free to request anything and we will make it a reality! With every genre such as the Swing Era, Disco, Classic Rock, Funk, Pop music on the radio today, and more, we will be able to make your reception fun and exciting!
DO YOU OFFER BUNDLES; OR DO YOU ONLY OFFER ONE OPTION AT A TIME?
The short and sweet of this is: YES, we offer bundling! The Perennials have done many weddings where the bride and groom only wanted us for the Rehearsal Dinner and Cocktail hour; others have wanted us just for the Wedding Ceremony. Often times, when The Perennials are hired for weddings, the bride and groom bundle everything listed below together.
-Rehearsal Dinner (typically the night before)
-Wedding Ceremony
-Cocktail Hour
-Reception
When bundling everything together, this helps cut down costs of potential: DJ's for the rehearsal dinner, church pianist/organist, a separate band for cocktail hour, and often times another DJ for the reception. As of the end of 2022, the average overall cost of hiring multiple musical-entities for your wedding was $12,000; to include the DJ, church/ceremony musician, etc. Depending on the size of ensemble, the needs/wants of the bride and groom, and some additional factors, The Perennials fee for weddings range from as low as $300 up to $2,000*. HOWEVER, we are always willing to work within your budget; and, we always will do our best to meet your wants/needs of your wedding!
*The only factor that would go over our top fee of $2,000 would be if there was a need for the majority of the band to conduct any overnights.
